Our recent Board Meeting demonstrated how busy the Board have been of late and I am confident that we have made some solid achievements in the last few months. Our Strategic Plan in now in place and will be submitted in its entirety at the upcoming AGM with objectives to be included in the constitution. Following are some key components of the Strategic Plan, which our RA Board members are committed to supporting, whilst diligently working towards achieving our goals.

Eleven lucky riders and their horses gathered at Rob Lawson’s new reining arena and horse property near Goulburn last month, for a two day intensive riding clinic with two-time world reining champion and current Reining Australia Board member, Martin Larcombe.

Expectations were high for the weekend, in light of Martin’s amazing overseas success in recent years and his considerable experience in training, preparing and showing world class reining horses. And Martin did not disappoint; with all clinic participants commenting on Martin’s easy going teaching style, common sense training methods and his oneon- one attention to detail with all riders and their horses.
