2018 - Cameron Halliwell

Cameron’s show career in the horse industry began when he represented Australia as a Youth competitor in Showjumping. Cameron was also a keen and active polo competitor.

Cameron started out reining in the  year 2000, when his wife Michelle was reining at the time. Michelle was working with Ian Francis at time, Cameron was watching Michelle from the stands showing and implied ‘this is just a steering competition, this is easy’ until he got his own horse and began showing!

Cameron’s first National Title was won on Rocs Protocol winning the 2001 Rookie, Open& Non Pro in Queensland.

The highlight of Cameron's career was winning his late wife's memorial Non pro class at Tamworth on Michelle’s show horse a palomino by the name of on Finally Dunit,
